P!NK's Summer Carnival Tour is about to rock Townsville. We know you've got questions so we've assembled a list of FAQs specific to P!NK's Townsville shows below. Also see our Concert Guide. 
 

QUICK FACTS

 

1. Gates open at 5pm, show starts at 7pm (no queuing before 12.30pm on show days).

2. Download your ticket to your phone's digital wallet or have it loaded in your Ticketmaster app before you leave home.

3. Pack light - NO BACKPACKS of any kind will be allowed in the venue. Personal water bottles are allowed (no glass). All patrons will be subject to security checks. Read below for the full list of prohibited items. 

4. Plan your trip and allow plenty of time - these shows are our biggest events yet, so however you're travelling (be it by car, foot, ferry, or bus) allow plently of time, follow signs, and traffic control directions.
 

  • Lou Litster Park car park opens at 3.00pm (shuttles from 3.30pm)
  • Reid Park paid parking (now sold out) opens at 3.00pm.

GETTING HERE  

Where can I park? 

  • There is NO public car parking at Queensland Country Bank Stadium for this event.
  • The FREE Lou Litster Park and Ride offering shuttles to the Stadium will operate from 3.30pm on show days.
  • FREE Parking is available in the CBD from 2pm Thursday, 21 March 2024 - walk (or dance) the short distance to the show.

Is there public transport? 

  • Yes, there are a range of transport options available for the anyone attending the P!NK concerts at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, including:
    • FREE Special Event Buses
    • FREE Park and Ride Shuttle Service (from Lou Litster Park)
    • Regular Bus Services (user pays)

Where can I be picked up or dropped off? 

  • Our Private vehicle drop off/pick up is located on Morey Street adjacent to Saunders Street

Can I get there using a Rideshare App like Uber?  

  • Yes, our rideshare zone is located on Morey Street adjacent to Saunders Street

Can I catch a taxi to the venue? 

  • There is an event day taxi rank located on Saunders Street (Central Park side) just after the Rooney/Saunders Street intersection

Can I book an Accessible Carpark?  

  • P!NK Accessible Parking Draw has now closed. 
  • Buses servicing the Lou Lister Park and Ride service are accessibility friendly.
  • There is also a short term drop-off zone in close proximity to the Stadium for patrons seeking to be driven and dropped off on event days.

ARRIVAL AND ENTRY 

 

What time are gates and what time is the show? 

  • Gates open at 5.00pm for both Friday 22 March and Saturday 23 March concerts. 
  • The show will start at 7.00pm. 
  • Certain ticket types allow early access the venue. These ticket holders will receive further communication from Ticketmaster. 

 

What time can I queue at the venue? 

  • NO queuing will be permitted prior to 12.30pm on the day of each concert.  
  • Some toilet facilities and water bubblers will be available for those queuing.  
  • The venue will not be facilitating any queue management.
  • It is recommended that patrons intending to queue bring their own food, water and sun protection. Alcohol will not be permitted.

 

What can't I bring in? (*all guests will be subject to bag checks and security wanding)

  • NO bags larger than A4 (roughly 15cm x 21cm). NOTE: Approved bags smaller than A4 will still be subject to full back checks. Parents attending with young children are permitted to bring a nappy bag larger than A4 (within reason), however they will be subject to full bag checks.
  • NO backpacks (style restrictions do not apply to Nappy Bags).
  • NO artist gifts.
  • NO camp chairs, folding chairs or collapsible stools. 
  • NO binoculars.
  • NO banners/flags/signs of any size - all banners, flags and signs (regardless of description or size) will not be permitted as per the direction from Tour Management to ensure no patrons have a blocked view of the show.
  • NO offensive or political messages. 
  • NO costume masks. 
  • NO glass water bottles. 
  • NO cameras, selfie-sticks/tripods, GoPros, drones or video recording devices.
  • NO prams/baby capsules (baby carriers are permitted inside the venue).
  • NO umbrellas.

Can I bring a gift for P!NK or Tones and I? 

  • No, the artists will not be accepting any gifts.
  • Gifts are not permitted inside the venue and must be discarded at the gates prior to entry. 
 

Can I bring a water bottle? And can I refill it? 

  • Yes, personal water bottles are permitted, however glass water bottles will not be permitted.  

  • Yes, free water bubblers are located both inside and outside the venue.

  • Additional hydrations stations will also be available for patrons located on the Arena Floor. 

  • Stay hydrated! North Queensland is hot and humid in March, so please prioritise drinking water throughout the day and seek medical attention immediately if you are feeling unwell.
 

Can I bring in food?

  • Yes, homemade, non-commercially packaged food is permitted.
     

What food and beverages will be available in the Stadium? 

  • A variety of food and beverage will be available for purchase inside the venue. 

  • Food and beverage facilities will be available from 5.00pm when gates open. 

 

Is cloaking available? 

  • Yes, two free cloaking marquees will be available to all ticketholders from 12.30pm on the day of each concert.  
  • ​Please visit Gate E (external) or Gate A (external) to access these facilities when you arrive. 

Where can I smoke/vape? 

  • Queensland Country Bank Stadium is a non-smoking/vaping venue (including e-cigarettes).
  • Strictly no smoking or vaping will be allowed inside the venue.
  • Patrons caught smoking or vaping may be evicted. 
  • Guests wishing to smoke/vape must exit the venue. Please note, Pass Outs (the ability to exit and re-enter) will be available. You will be required to scan your ticket both in and out of the venue for a passout. 

 

What do I need to have ready at my gate? 

  • Ensure your ticket is saved to your digital wallet or Ticketmaster app – screenshots will not be accepted.
  • Have your ticket open in the Ticketmaster app or via your phones digital wallet ready to be scanned. 
  • Increase your phones brightness or disable dark mode to ensure smooth entry.
  • We're using SafeTix to keep your tickets safe. Screenshots will not be accepted. Read more about SafeTix.
  • Print-at-Home and Collector tickets will be accepted.
  • Make sure you transfer tickets to members of your group. Learn more about downloading and sharing tickets on the Ticketmaster website. 
 

I am sitting on level 2 (section 200-211), level 3 or level 4 of the western stand; how do I access my seats?

  • Your ticket will have you entering via Gate A; CLICK HERE to see the map that shows you your path of travel once you enter the gate. You will be required to walk up the Gate A tail, behind the Northern Stand (stage) and through the glass foyer doors on the Western side of the venue to get to the lift/escalators.

Do you accept cash?  

  • No, we are a cashless venue
  • Please bring your card for any food, beverage or merchandise purchases.
  • Cash will not be accepted inside the venue. 
  • EFTPOS/Tap&Go is available at all catering and merchandise outlets.
  • There are no ATMs or cash out facilities at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

 

Will there be merchandise?  

  • Official merchandise will be available to purchase from a number of outlets inside and outside the venue.
  • Merchandise stands will be located outside Gate E and at Central Park (external of Gate A) and inside the venue in the Northern Green (internal of Gate A) and Level 1 Western Concourse. 
  • External merchandise stands located outside Gate E and Central Park (external of Gate A) will be open from 12.30pm on the day of each concert.
  • NO CASH ACCEPTED - EFTPOS/Tap&Go ONLY


ACCESSIBILITY

How can I book an accessible carpark?

  • The P!NK Accessible Parking Draw has now closed.

DURING THE SHOW

Will there be lighting or visual effects?

  • Yes. Please be advised the show will contain flashing lights, strobe lighting and other lighting effects throughout the performance. 
  • Haze may also also be used during the show. 

 

Will there be have first aid? 

  • Yes, 1300MEDICS will be on-site and providing first aid response.
  • There are two medical rooms located on Level 1 (Aisle 113 and Aisle 131) as well as on the Arena Floor. To locate a medical room, please follow signage on display, or see a Customer Service staff member for directions. 
  • Stay hydrated! North Queensland is hot and humid in March, so please prioritise drinking water throughout the day and seek medical attention immediately if you are feeling unwell. 
 

What should I do if I experience anti-social behaviour? 

  • The safety of patrons, performers and staff is our top priority. 
  • Please show respect to other patrons, the performers and staff at all times. 
  • If you experience anti-social behaviour while attending this event, please alert your nearest Customer Service Representative or send an SMS to 0407 487 155. 


TICKETING

How can I purchase a ticket? 

  • Tickets are being sold through Ticketmaster only. 
  • The only way to guarantee entry to P!NK is to purchase a ticket through the authorised ticket agent, Ticketmaster.
  • Entry is not guaranteed if tickets have been purchased via other ticketing agencies or platforms. 
  • General Admission (Front & Back) or Golden Circle Pod (Pod 1 & Pod 2) are STANDING ONLY.

 

When will I receive my ticket?   

  • You will receive your ticket from Ticketmaster after you have completed your purchase. Read more about ticket delivery for P!NK's 2024 tour on the Ticketmaster website. 
  • We’re now using SafeTix to keep your tickets safe and secure.
  • Once you’ve received your ticket, download it to your digital wallet on your phone or view it using the Ticketmaster app. 
  • If your tickets have not been received, please contact Ticketmaster
  • Don’t forget to transfer tickets to members of your group before you arrive for fast and easy access.
  • Download the Ticketmaster app and then view your ticket in the app to ensure you always have access to it, no matter what you phone coverage is like. 

 

What are SafeTix?

  • We're using Ticketmaster's SafeTix for this event. SafeTix are encrypted mobile tickets with fraud and counterfeit protection. They use a barcode that automatically refreshes every few seconds to prevent it being copied, keeping your tickets safe and secure.
  • Your phone's your ticket, so make sure you download the Ticketmaster app and have your ticket open and ready to scan when you arrive. 
  • Screenshots and photos will not be accepted. Note: Hard copy tickets will still be accepted in the case of Collector tickets, Corporate Hospitality and Print-at-Home tickets. 
 

What is a Collector ticket? 

  • A Collector ticket is a souvenir ticket which not only gets you into the event, but it also serves as a treasured keepsake to be kept well after the show is over.
 

I purchased a Collector ticket, when will I receive it?

  • Collector tickets will be posted out approximately one month prior the event. Read more about Collector's tickets on the ticket delivery for P!NK's 2024 tour page. 
  • Collector tickets can only be delivered via mail and cannot be sent as Print-at-Home or E-Tickets or collected from outlets or the venue. 
  • Collector tickets do not come with a lanyard. 
  • If you have a Collector ticket, you will not receive a digital ticket. 

 

Who do I contact if I’ve lost my ticket?

  • If you lose your ticket before show day, please contact Ticketmaster.
  • If you lose your ticket on show day, please visit one of the Box Offices upon arrival - please allow additional time for this process and make sure you bring photo ID that matches the details on your ticket.
 

Can I bring children?

  • Yes, this is an all ages event, however all guests (regardless of age) need a valid ticket.
  • Guests under 12 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
  • Access to the General Admission/Golden Circle Pods is recommended for patrons 15 years and over.
  • There are four parents rooms located on Level 1. 
  • Nappy bags are permitted, however will be subject to security checks.
  • NO prams or baby capsules permitted inside the venue - these must be cloaked prior to entry. 
  • Baby carriers are permitted.

 

What does General Admission / Golden Circle Pod ticket mean?

  • General Admission or Golden Circle Pod tickets may be referred to as 'Arena Floor' or 'Field of Play'.
  • These areas are STANDING ONLY. 
  • Golden Circle Pod 1 and Golden Circle Pod 2 are separate.
  • Guests on the Arena Floor will  have access to the Level 1 Concourse to access venue facilities.
  • Access to the Arena Floor will be via Aisle 112, Aisle 120, Aisle 134 and Aisle 137.
  • Guests seated in the grandstands will NOT have access to the Arena Floor.

 

What is a restricted view/side view seat? 

  • Restricted View Seats (if noted on your ticket) means you may be unable to see the entire stage. This will be advised at the time of purchase.
  • Side View Seats (if noted on your ticket) means you have a side-on-view of the stage, meaning you may be unable to view the entire stage. This will be advised at the time of purchase.
 

Is Corporate Hospitality available?

  • The Corporate Hospitality allocation for this event is now exhausted.
  • If you booked Corporate Hospitality, information will be communicated via Queensland Country Bank Stadium and/or GEMA Catering to the account contact.
